Georgetown Lake is easily accessible from the Austin area which makes it a great outdoor destination for city dwellers! This lake covers a little over 2 square miles and has opportunities for hiking, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and camping.
To visit the Lake Office, From I-35, travel west on Williams Dr. approx. 5 miles to D.B. Wood Road and continue for approx 0.5 miles to Lake Overlook Drive. Turn right on Lake Overlook Drive and continue 1 block. Turn right to access the Lake Office. Office hours are 8-4:30 M-F. There is a RV turn-around area on this road.
